What is Support Coordination?
Support Coordination is an NDIS funded support in the ‘Capacity Building’ category. It is designed to help you build the skills you need to understand and implement your plan.
As with all categories of funding, the decision to include it in your plan is based on whether it is deemed ‘reasonable and necessary’ by the NDIS in order for you to be able to achieve your goals.
Support Coordination may be included in your plan if you;
Have complex and / or high intensity needs
Have limited or no informal supports
Are sourcing housing options
Have a cognitive impairment
Speak English as a second language
Live in a remote location with limited access to providers
Have limited access to technology
